About the Event
We are delighted to present our popular seasonal concert 'Carols at the Museum' for the sixth year running, in December 2022! Let us entice you away from the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping and enchant you with an hour long programme of seasonal music and readings from across the ages. We can guarantee you will leave rejuvenated and humming with the spirit of Christmas!
This year, the programme will include the world premiere of a new commission by Eoghan Desmond, "Awake ye drowsy mortals all" (supported by ACNI Stability and Renewal funding). Also on the programme are works by fellow Irish composers Desmond Earley and Michael McGlynn, carols by Bob Chilcott, Morten Lauridsen and Ben Parry, as well as works by Richard Dering and Michael Praetorius.
