Internationally renowned harpsichordist and Sestina Music Associate Artist Tristan Russcher brings a stunning programme of music from and inspired by Italy. Featuring works by Frescobaldi, Scarlatti, Rossi and Storace, alongside Bach’s celebrated Italian Concerto. From the improvisatory freedom of early seventeenth-century toccatas to the brilliance and lyricism of Scarlatti’s sonatas, the recital traces an Italian musical journey full of colour, contrast and expressive intensity.
